The concept of mental health in the workplace is trending in all sectors. Bridges Health is thrilled to be hosting Mental Health Fist Aid training in the workplace This certification is an evidence based training program in place to assist individuals and organizations in every single profession. Increasing one’s mental health literacy, recognizing mental health problems, reducing stigma, and an increased confidence providing help to others is among the various topics covered. A 2-day Mental Health First Aid Certification Training Workshop in Saskatoon on November 1 & 2 and Regina on November 8 & 9, 2016 is being offered. Anyone who managers and/or supervises staff will benefit from this training, as participants will be provided with the tools to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health problems and will be provided with crisis and first aid skills for substance overdose, suicidal behavior, panic attacks, acute stress reactions and psychotic episodes.
