The Personal Care Worker course will prepare employees to work with the aging population in Saskatchewan. This course is the basic requirement for employment as a Personal Care Worker under the Regulations provided by Saskatchewan Health. The 16 hour Personal Care Worker course outline: • Introduction to Residential Care home in Saskatchewan • Aging • Body Mechanics • Preventing Illness and Injury • Observation Skills • Basic Personal Care • Nutrition • Recreational Activities • Common Conditions of the Elderly • Medications • Care Plans. You may register for this class in person at our office, over the phone or online.
