Canada Day
Canada Day in Crescent Park is going to feel like one big backyard party! A stage full of family friendly entertainment starts off with Annie MacLeod Music at 12:30! You'll also have a chance to participate in the Co-op Moose Jaw Pie Eating Contest (for kids and adults!) to possibly win some great prizes! Throughout the park, you'll find giant yard games like Yardzee, Jenga, Snakes & Ladders, Connect 4, Kerplunk and Bean Bag Toss. From 1 - 5 there will be a living library set up, right in the heart of Crescent Park! If you're wondering what that is - it's a really cool way to get to know your community, and maybe even learn a skill! We will have a growing list of what you can expect, but we are hoping to have over 20 interactive stations for your family! What better way to grow a sense of community than getting to know the people and groups who are in it! The Moose Jaw Miller Express will be there to interact with the kids, and maybe even give out some free tickets! And don't forget, Moose Jawg Charity Road Race is happening that morning in Wakamow Valley, and Park Art 2018 Moose Jaw is right there in Crescent Park too!! Then, we will end the day with our official ceremony, with involvement from many organizations and dignitaries around the city! We want to celebrate Canada Day with you - our Community! Come out for some old fashioned fun! Fireworks! Are back with the help of local business sponsorship. Check out The Moose Jaw Canada Day facebook page
